This ladies Wampum ring is Native American made. It is set in sterling silver. It has 1 Wampum shell set in the center. On this piece the wampum shell is set in silver. The plate edges have half hoops and silver balls. A North Carolina flower is what inspired this paticular piece. The price is for the Wampum included in the ring as shown.

The ring can be made using many different stones. If you would like pricing on this ring using another stone please let us know. We can provide a quote at anytime. We hope you like the ring, while the Wampum shell is not as well know as turquoise and coral in Native American jewelry, it is gaining in popularity, and will soon be found through all tribal jewelry.

The Wampum shell has always been popular in the North Eastern states. Eastern Coastal Nations used it as a form of trade/currency. A popular use for Wampum bead is its use in "treaty belts". Historically the darker the purple, the more the shell was worth. We hope you like our work. This ring has a number of man hours into its construction. Nothing is from a mold or is prefabricated on this ring. So the shank, plate, and bezel are all hand cut. The ring is shaped and heated by hand. The petals are all hand shaped and so are the silver balls.

  • The shells are cut and polished with lapidary equipment.
  • The ring comes in multiple sizes.
