Handcrafted Native American earrings!

These Native American wampum earrings are the piece for your collection. The unique pattern of alternating wampum and sterling silver beads make these hanging earrings uniquely elegant.
Each bead is cut from the Quahog Shell found in the North Atlantic sea, commonly known as Wampum. These earrings are cleaned and polished on a traditional buffing wheel machine, showing the bright color of the sterling silver. This time consuming attention to detail results in very high quality, making these earrings perfect for your collection or everyday wear.
We hope you enjoy them!

This American Indian earrings can be constructed using many different stones and shells. If you would like pricing on these earrings using another stone or shell please let us know. We can provide a quote at anytime. While the Wampum shell is not as well known as turquoise or coral in Native American jewelry, it is gaining popularity, and will soon be found through all tribal jewelry.
Historically the Wampum shell has always been popular in the North East and mid Eastern states. Eastern Coastal Nations used it as a form of trade/currency. A popular use for Wampum bead is its use in treaty belts. Historically the darker the purple, the more the shell was worth.
